The difference between puppets and men...
Posted on 2004-07-29 at 08:02
...is that a puppet doesn't get to choose which hand goes up his ass. :-/
...And eventually all rats gotta suck the pipe, Johnny!

Just got word that the primary managerial thorn in my side has been fired. The world just got a little brighter.
Voom
Posted on 2004-07-28 at 08:03
Voom is a good company but satellite installers suck ass. The first guy butchered the job (badly!) and now I've been playing whododat with the subcontractor to get it all resolved. Hopefully tonights visit will fix the lack of local channels.
Waiting
Posted on 2004-07-28 at 08:02
Sitting here waiting for the HT installer guy and the Voom installer guy to show up. Waiting for other people is never as fun as making em wait for you.

Well, I put my money down for the Caudroplex. It's gonna be sweet! Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll post the equipment details.
Busy :-(
Posted on 2004-07-27 at 08:02
I've been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to blog much. That needs to change.
Again, Calvin sums it up nicely

A casualty of society
Posted on 2004-07-21 at 08:02
This song has been stuck in my head for a weekl or so now. It's great scream therapy! Nothing like riding down the road screaming out the lyrics to a solid angry-youth song. :-)
Will's Dad
Posted on 2004-07-21 at 08:01
Will's dad passed away this week. I have fond memories of his dad and I know he will be missed by many people. If you haven't already, you should take some time to give a couple of dollars to Alzhiemer's research. Think you are too broke to give? Think again.
The Caudroplex
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:08
The Caudroplex is underway. Domes AV is helping with the install. I hope to see real gains in the next couple of weeks! Sweet! Gonna be SO cool! Pictures will be posted and Priase will be warranted! :-)
The TV
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:07
I dropped Bryan's shit-ass company and have moved to a company with great customer service. It's satellite, so there are issues with storms and stuff, but overall I'm happy so far. We'll see how it all turns out.
The business
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:06
The business took a small hit when two of my guys rolled off the current client. Not a show stopper, but it sucks anyway. Mostly, it's the result of the machinations of one manager out there. There's always one prick in the mix. I seriously want to leave Corporate America. Too much desperation. Eye on the prize: Pay off this house and quit.
Shep
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:05
Shep is in town. Cool stuff. He should move back. We need him, Dave, and Daren back in town.
The network
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:04
...Except for the network. Geez! Apparently, the builders built the room I plan on using as my home office to be all but unwirable! Ahhh! Work, dammit! I've set up a temporary office in what will be the guest bedroom while I try to get a jack wired in the office.
The New House
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:03
The new house is great. I love it! Denise and I are settling in quite nicely. I honestly could not be happier with the house. We'd started filling it with our stuff. Still waiting on the two tables (dining room and kitchen) to finish being built. It'll be cool when it all comes together.
Will

First, the most significant thing to happen. Will's dad is not doing so well. Most uncool. My prayers are with him.
The wait is over
Posted on 2004-07-16 at 08:01
I've been moving to the new home since June 21st, so I haven't had a chance to blog. Below I will try to hit the highlights.
